Manozi Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Manozi (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Manozi booking platform (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use this platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

  1. Platform Overview

Manozi is a digital booking platform that connects service providers (“Vendors”) with users (“Customers”). We provide the platform but do not directly provide the services listed.

  1. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may be required to register an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information,

Maintain the security of your account,

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

  1. Bookings and Payments

All bookings made through Manozi are subject to availability and vendor approval.

Payment terms may vary depending on the vendor’s policies.

Manozi may charge a booking fee or commission, which will be disclosed during the booking process

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by the individual vendors. Please review vendor-specific policies before booking.

  1. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Manozi. Vendors are solely responsible for:

Delivering their services,

Setting their availability and pricing,

Complying with all applicable laws.

  1. Communication and Response Time

7.1 Platform Support Response Time
Manozi commits to responding to all platform-related inquiries, including technical issues, account support, booking errors, and payment concerns, within 24 business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Urgent matters can be escalated via email to [email protected].

7.2 Vendor Response Time
Each vendor/service provider on the Manozi platform is responsible for their own customer communications. Vendors are required to state their expected response time clearly on their booking profile or listing page. While average response times may vary by service category, vendors are encouraged to respond to all booking-related communications within 48 hours.

7.3 Escalation and Support
If a customer does not receive a response from a vendor within the stated timeframe, they may contact Manozi support. Manozi will make reasonable efforts to follow up with the vendor and facilitate a resolution but does not guarantee vendor response beyond what is stipulated.

7.4 No Liability for Vendor Delays
Manozi is a marketplace facilitator and does not take responsibility for any delays, miscommunications, or failures by third-party vendors to respond within their declared timeframe. Customers are encouraged to review vendor policies and contact details prior to booking.

  1. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose,

Post false, misleading, or inappropriate content,

Attempt to bypass the platform to transact directly with vendors or users.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, design, and software, is the property of Manozi or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the Platform without our written consent.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manozi shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,

Disputes or damages arising from user-vendor interactions,

Any temporary interruption or unavailability of the platform.

  1. Disclaimer

Manozi provides the platform “as is” and does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of vendor services.

  1. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Manozi harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

Your use of the platform,

Your violation of these Terms,

Any third-party claims related to your content or interactions.

  1. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users via email or platform notification. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  1. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
